Home remodeling in Danville, CA

Remodeling in Danville

Danville is a town rather than a city, with its own Permit Center. We serve Danville homeowners with kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole-home renovations and the repair work that comes with owning an established home.

N. Abeyta Remodels is a licensed and insured remodeler based in Brentwood. We manage the whole project, from demolition and rough work through drywall, tile, flooring and paint, so you deal with one team.

Permits in Danville

Permits for Danville are handled by the Permit Center (Building Division) of the Town of Danville. What follows is what that office publishes, and we confirm the specifics for your address before work begins.

The Town of Danville says a permit is required for most construction and repair projects. Its list includes plumbing, electrical and mechanical work, structural changes, additions, alterations and remodels, with bathroom and kitchen remodels named as examples, along with water heaters, air conditioners and HVAC replacement.

The town's permit directory has handouts for window, door and skylight replacement, water heater requirements, remodel submittal requirements and a reroof questionnaire. Applications are accepted in person or through the online portal, and the Permit Center keeps set hours.

What this means for your project

• The town names kitchen and bathroom remodels directly, so we plan for a permit.
• Remodel submittal requirements are published, which helps us prepare drawings that meet them the first time.
• Check the town's page for current Permit Center hours before visiting in person.
